We offer a full range of free or low-cost classes for the entire Greater Lafayette community, covering technology skills, finances, Bible study, Red Cross courses, and other courses for improving skills, learning about God, and handling life's challenges. Please don't let financial costs keep you from taking any class. If there's a need, just let us know (765-448-1986 or email).
The FCI semester runs from August 18 to November 17, and classes meet from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Classes range in how many weeks they meet; so it's easy to take 2, 3, or more classes. And we offer activities for children and teens as well.
We have several courses this semester. We have also designated several classes as "foundational Faith" classes ( ), which we desire every member of Faith Baptist Church to complete.

Description: Obtain tools to help you improve your financial picture and possibly the financial picture of those around you.

BC 401 Lay Counseling Series Module 1

Description: This first six week course seeks to establish the basics of biblical counseling from a Scriptural point of view. Particular attention is given to helping us understand the two challenges of life: sin and suffering and how being a biblical counselor can help to minister to these folks in the midst of those challenges.

BI 315 Expanding Your Horizons

Description: This class is a requirement for church-sponsored missions trips. We will learn what, if anything, the Bible says about the way we should do missions, what the role of the local church is in missions. We will also learn about the GOER Ministry of FBC and learn why you might want to be a “FAT Christian.”

BI 305 Sharing the Gospel Today

Description: This series will help us understand the Gospel and how to share the Gospel in a "today" setting. First, we will follow some of the patterns and examples set by the Apostle Paul in the book of Acts focusing in on our personal testimony. Second, we will spend some time learning how to handle specific objections and questions that may arise while sharing our testimonies.

BI 290 Why Can't I Feel My Faith?

Description: What happens when we get to a point in our lives when we feel like nothing is happening in "our faith?" In this study we will seek to answer the questions of "Where is my faith?", How do I know if I even have faith?", and "Does what I have faith in really matter?" We will also explore the meanings of knowledge, belief, and faith with an emphasis on how these apply to our everyday lives. Some of the key passages will include Jer. 2, Mal. 1, Matt. 7, Luke 8, 18, Heb. 11, James 2 and an overview of I John.

Free Childcare! Free nursery and children’s programs for ages 0 - 5th grade are available through the FBC Nursery or Wednesday Night Kids of Faith (preregistration recommended for first-time guests). Join us as we Explore the Truth this fall and help your kids in reaching their potential.
Teens (grades 6-12) won't want to miss our Wednesday night program about relationships, worship, and truth. This series will be relevantly presented and discussed along with great activities. Meet in the Faith Community Center LOFT on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.
